BAKILMUN25′ consists of seven committees of four different languages

Council of the Wizards

The Council of the Wizards, will host the members of the “Order of the Phoenix” that formed against Voldemort at the beginning of the First Great Wizarding War, which began in 1980 and lasted 11 years, will travel through time to defeat the Death Eaters and protect both Muggles, the non-magical people, and their comrades.

This council, where magic and knowledge are power, will be based on the Harry Potter series’ universe and will progress as its history and characters.

Agenda Item: Global Preparedness and Response to Bioterrorism

In an era where science can save lives but also be weaponized, the World Health Organization faces the urgent challenge of bioterrorism. From engineered pathogens to the deliberate spread of deadly diseases, this committee will push delegates to address the threats that could destabilize global health security.

Gündem Maddesi: 1574 Osmanlı Taht Krizi

1574 yılında II. Selim’in vefatının ardından Osmanlı İmparatorluğu en kritik taht kavgalarından biriyle karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Şehzade Murad en güçlü aday olarak öne çıksa da, rakip şehzadeler, saray içindeki hizipler ve dış güçlerin etkisi imparatorluğun istikrarını tehdit etmektedir.

Saray entrikaları, yeniçeri huzursuzluğu ve Safevi desteği ihtimali gölgesinde, delegeler dönemin kilit aktörlerini temsil edecek, kendi pozisyonlarını savunacak, ittifaklar kuracak ve Osmanlı tahtının geleceğine karar verecek.

Komite; meşruiyet tartışmaları, ulema ve haremdeki nüfuz mücadeleleri, yabancı devletlerin etkisi ve askeri elitlerin rolleri gölgesinde şekillenecek.

Agenda 1 : La crise de Haïti et ses implications pour les droits de l’homme
comme la faim, les protestations, la violence des gangs et l’effondrement des institutions qui menacent les droits fondamentaux en Haïti, tels que la vie, la sécurité et l’accès aux besoins essentiels.

Agenda 2 : La lutte contre la discrimination envers les minorités musulmanes en Inde.
La montée des discriminations et du violence compromet gravement l’égalité, la liberté religieuse et les droits fondamentaux des minorités musulmanes en Inde.

Agenda Item: The Prosecution of Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity in East Turkistan: Forced Detentions, Sterilizations, and Eradication of Uyghur Identity

For years reports have raised concerns about mass detentions, forced sterilizations, restrictions on religious practices and the erasure of cultural identity in East Turkistan. This committee will bring those allegations to the courtroom, asking whether such actions constitute crimes against humanity or rise to the level of genocide.
Delegates will examine evidence, interpret international law and debate accountability at the highest level.

The ICC is not just about discussing justice it’s about delivering it. Are you ready to take part in a trial that the world is still too hesitant to hold?

Agenda Item:In 1947, Cyprus, where Greeks and Turks lived together, was under Greek sovereignty, and when repression against Turkish Cypriots increased, the Turkish government unexpectedly launched an operation to bring peace back to Cyprus.

Against a backdrop of years of communal violence, the Sampson coup supported by the Greek junta, and Turkey’s intervention under the Treaty of Guarantee, delegates will represent the real actors of that period, discuss their countries’ historical positions and seek alternative outcomes. The Committee will address key events, such as the failed Geneva talks and the humanitarian crisis following the second intervention, and will conclude with a joint Committee Directive and final decision.

We will now discuss Turkey’s intervention in Cyprus at this table. Are you ready for a short historical journey?

تشهد لبنان منذ أعوام أزمة خانقة تتمثل في انهيار العملة الوطنية، وارتفاع معدلات الفقر والبطالة، وتراجع الخدمات الأساسية، مما أدى إلى إضعاف مؤسسات الدولة وانعدام ثقة المواطنين بها. كما ساهمت الانقسامات الطائفية وانتشار السلاح خارج سلطة الدولة، والتدخلات الإقليمية والدولية في تعميق حدة الأزمة وتعقيد مسار الحل.

تؤكد جامعة الدول العربية على أهمية تضافر الجهود العربية والدولية لدعم لبنان، وتشجيع الحوار الوطني وتعزيز استقرار مؤسسات الدولة بما يضمن عودة الأمن والازدهار للشعب اللبناني.
